Windgap (pronounced Y-ind-gap) (Irish: Beárna na Gaoithe - "Gap of the Wind.") is a town in County Kilkenny, Ireland. The people of Windgap are commonly called 'Gappers'. The landscape of Windgap is dominated by steep hills and large wooded areas. Agriculture is Windgap's main industry, with dairy being its main export, also beef production and tillage (mainly barley)
