Tullamore is a large town in the Midlands region of Ireland. It is the county town (main administrative town]] of County Offaly. Tullamore is a major commercial and industrial center in its geographical area. It was designated a 'Gateway' town in late 2003 by the Irish Government, meaning it will receive extra infasturctural investment. Unfortuatly it had the misfortune of being named Ireland's dirtiest town by a recent national survey - something the locals deeply disagree with.
