Roscrea (Ros Cré) is a small town in North Tipperary, Ireland, to be found at the heart of Ireland, halfway between Limerick and Dublin on the N7 road. It takes less than 2 hours to drive from Roscrea to any of the cities Cork, Galway, Limerick or Dublin, and historically Roscrea has been an important trading town.

Ros Cré means 'wood of Cré', Cré been a female name of olden times.
