Ronan Patrick John Keating, born on 3rd March 1977 in Dublin, Republic of Ireland, is an Irish pop singer in the boy band Boyzone, who has since gone on to a solo career.

Ronan had a great success in his solo career with an old classic - "When you say nothing at all" and more recently "If tomorrow never comes", the old Gareth Brooks song.

Ronan's mother, Marie, died tragically of breast cancer in 1998 and Ronan, together with his family, has set up the "Marie Keating foundation" to increase information and awareness of breast cancer. To this end Ronan took some time off to do a sponsored walk around the whole of Ireland. Fair play to you Ronan!

Ronan's singing style has sometimes been mimicked on "Gift Grub", a radio show in Dublin - but usually in good jest.
