Portarlington (Irish: Cúil an tSúdaire - "Tanner's Corner") is a town straddling the border between Counties Laois and Offaly in the Midlands region of Ireland. It is a focal point in the Irish railway network, being situated near a junction for services to and from Galway and County Mayo connecting to Dublin.
