Oranmore(Irish: Uaráin Mhóir) a small village on the outskirts of Galway City.

Oranmore is rapidly becoming a commuter or suburban belt with major housing developments. However still manages to maintain its 'little village' charm, for example a thatched pub featuring in the main street.

Local industry has recently changed from primarily dairy agriculture to tourism, manufacturing and logistics with several industrial parks located near the village. 62.231.39.14 09:58, 30 Jul 2004 (UTC)
