The N1 is a major road in Ireland, running from Dublin north via Drogheda and Dundalk to the Northern Irish border just south of Newry, where it becomes the A1.

Most of the N1 have been upgraded to motorway standard and are known as the M1. The motorway runs from just south of Dundalk to Dublin.
