Isabella Augusta Gregory (March 5, 1852 - May 22, 1932), better known simply as Lady Gregory, was an Irish dramatist.

She was born Isabella Augusta Persse in Roxborough, County Galway. She married Sir William Henry Gregory in 1880 and was widowed in 1892. With W B Yeats, she co-founded the Abbey Theatre, Dublin, and wrote numerous short works for its players. She also produced a number of books of retellings of stories from Irish mythology
