I propose the following guidelines for lists of pieces:

• The naming of lists of pieces should follow Ireland Information Guide:Lists (stand-alone lists) the Ireland Information Guide: naming conventions, specifically Ireland Information Guide:Naming conventions (pieces of music)
  • It appears at this point that we do not need to include "musical pieces" in the title of the list (Ireland Information Guide:Naming conventions (precision)), as piece redirects to musical composition.
• List should additionally:
  • Use "-istic" whenever possible, preferd over "-ist" (example: modernistic, not modernist or modern)

• Ireland Information Guide:Naming conventions and Lists of pieces - Lists of pieces has a format borrowed from Lists of solo piano pieces, which lists pages by composer, style or period, and nationality or culture. Now a list of pages itself and every alphabetical page clearly violates the "Do not use an article name that suggests a hierarchy of articles" convention, example: List of solo piano pieces by composer: G.
