Hello! Welcome to the WikiProject for Classic, International and Cult Cinema!
As with some other Wikiprojects, it may be useful to begin by bringing some coherence and/or standardisation to some Cinema articles, and one way to start is through templates, ex.:

and so on for other nationalities. There are already some categories for national cinemas, which should facilitate the process (gawd I hate this Wikiofficialiese jargon I've picked up); our long term goal should be to make some of the film and filmmaker biography articles comparable to some of the best articles here on science, history, literature etc - if you're a film buff you already know that really good films get a disproportionately small amount of attention anyway, because shitty films have a stranglehold on the disproportionately large amount of attention they can rely on account of commercial manipulation and the generally low level of mass audience expectations, intellect, etc. Suggestions welcome. Also list your name on a participant roster if you like.
