Donnybrook is a town located in the Dublin 4 postal district on the Southside of Dublin and is home of the broadcaster RTÉ and University College Dublin.
A donnybrook is also a colloquial term for a brawl or fracas. The origin of the term is from the Donnybrook Fair, an annual horse fair notorious for fighting and drunkenness.
Donnybrook is the location of Ailesbury Road and Shrewsbury Road, the two most expensive streets in an Irish edition of the Monopoly game.
