The Cliffs of Moher are the cliffs at the south-western edge of The Burren area, which is located in County Clare, Republic of Ireland. The cliffs rise from the Atlantic Ocean to a height of nearly 200 meters and extend for a distance of eight kilometers.

On top of the cliffs is an old watch tower – O'Brien's Tower.

Do not go too close to the edge of the Cliffs on a windy day. Lives have been lost by a gust of wind scooping the visitor over the edge. That is why in some photos you will see people laying down and looking over the cliffs.

Tourist attraction with visitor center.
