In Goidelic mythology, Cethlenn was the wife of Balor and, by him, the mother of Ethlinn.

The town of Enniskillen in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland is named after her. The Irish meaning of Enniskillen is Inis Cethlenn = The island of Cethlenn.
