Blanchardstown is a suburb of Dublin City, Ireland, it is also a large township in Fingal a subdivision of County Dublin and serves as a regional administrative centre along with Swords. The suburb is also the location of Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown. The proposed National Stadium was also to be sited near Blanchardstown, in Abbotstown a related devolopement was the National Aquatics Center.
