Ballina (Irish:Béal an Átha) is the largest town, though not the county town, of County Mayo in the Republic of Ireland. It lies at the mouth of the River Moy near the province of Connacht's northern Atlantic coast. The town is home to Moyne Abbey. It is a terminus on one of Ireland's railway routes from Dublin.
